It was a complete bust. I have now returned at least seven pairs of boots that I have bought online. I got so discouraged that I went to the mall after work and bought a pair that I had been eyeing, but which isn't sold online. Done.
Oh, but you know those annoying guys who work at carts selling Proactiv and weird hair extension pieces? The ones at Barton Creek mall are really aggressive. I told this one guy no thanks (very politely, I might add, considering the skeezy line he was trying to use to lure me to his hand cream cart) and he stuck his tongue out and did a "pppbbbbbtttt" at me. Sorry for the non-sequitur, but WHAT THE EFF?
At least I have boots I like. Happy happy joy joy!

Re: Boot Fest 2010
dude the people at the mall here can be crazy aggressive too. i don't even bother acknowledging them anymore cause they can be so rude! saying 'no thanks' or 'not interested' or whatever is their queue to hound you. its obnoxious.
yay for boots!
Yay for boots...do we get a pic?
I was just talking to a co-worker about the mall people...do they really think I am going to let them put their flat iron in my hair? Who knows what type of people their hands, combs, fake hair pieces and flat irons have been in contact with. Yep, I'm a snob when it comes to personal hygeine like that.
I don't go to Barton Creek mall any more for that exact reason- I do not enjoy being accosted every 10ft.
I just came in this morning to hear about your boots!! Do you mind share a pic?
I don't even make an eye contact with the vendors in the mall.
I will look for a pic!
