Tips on when to look for a job...relocating for Future Hubby
Hi Everyone,
I am a knottie now but I thought I would get some advice over here.
I am just wondering if anyone has suggestions for when to start looking/interviewing for jobs when I am relocating after the wedding. My parents are paying for the wedding, and therefore I am not allowed to live with my fiance until we get married.(and he lives about an hour away..to far to commute) I want to have a real job when I move and am married..but I am just looking for advice on the best way to do this. It is a big transistion, not only getting married, but trying to find a new career in a new town.
Any suggestions or advice?

Hi!
When are you getting married? I relocated to St. Louis from NYC soon after getting married. I would suggest that you start looking for a position sooner rather than later, especially with the economy so bad! I found out we were moving here in June, and it took me until November to get a job in my field.
Even if you don't plan on moving here for several months, it is not a bad idea to get your resume out there and start to make some connections.
