Nom Nom Nom and clicky POLL (Most options EVAR)

Girlscout cookies! One of the guys at work has a 6 year old that is a Girlscout. The orders came in today. Nom!

I thought i'd copy and paste each into the poll and then realized there are a lot of options. Oh well. It says all are not available in all areas.

  • I voted for Dulce de Leche because Samoas are an automatic WIN.

  • I lurve me some thin mints. So does H. *Hides a box*

    .
  • Ewe coconut! *Shudders with horror*
    .
  • Don't they make the shortbreads with the chocolate anymore?

  • I recently purchased 3 boxes myself. I haven't received them yet, but they're on their way. I bought thin mint, tagalong, and the lemon-ginger ones.

  • Different regions of the country get their cookies from different bakeries, so the options vary. I have to order lemonades from my nieces in MA because the lemon option in KY is some sort of sandwich monstrosity.  But thin mints are universal because they are, without doubt, the best.

I just a friendly gal looking for options.

  • I'm sad that you can't choose more than one. I always get 2 boxes of tagalongs and 2 boxes of thin mints. From every girlscout I encounter.

My parents only buy thin mints and trefoils, because you get the most per box. I was deprived of Tagalongs for my entire childhood because you only get like 12 per box so they "weren't worth the money."

  • I haven't purchased girl scout cookies in TWO years.  ::sigh::

    MFEO swoon!

And sorry there are way too many combos!

This will be my first time with a girlscout cookie. I'm tres excited. I may even light some candles and put on some Barry White while I try them.

  • This is how my order went:

I wrote down on the order form to order 2 thinmints and a box of tagalongs.

Today I walk in and COOKIES! Another CW said wow you ordered 9 boxes??

    Urm no.

So the CW talked to his wife and then told me how they mixed up the order. His work truck was put in the shop (elsewhere). While he was hunting he called the shop and asked them to read off the order. He wrote the orders down on the side of his boot. (Not kidding.) Then relayed it to his wife via the telephone. Somewhere in there the order above mine was duplicated as mine.

Out of pure kindness you know I had to buy another box of tagalongs. Wink

  • I always get one box of thin mints and one box of somoas. Then, a hotel that I work with a lot always sends me one box of thin mints. And then my MIL always gives us one box of somoas. And then I always get one box of thin mints and one box of somoas from the girls in front of my Safeway.

Last year I almost made it out cookie free, until my hotel sent me my box. This year I've already placed my first order. I don't think I've ever even tried the other kinds I love these two so much.

You mean you really have never tasted, eaten, smelled, caressed, nothing a GS cookie?!

  • I decided to do away with pretense this year and ordered only thin mints.

Also, the bakery is very important. I really only order from the Little Brownie Bakers. Some GS Councils use the "ABC Baking Company" (<-- actual name), and those cookies are teh suck.

  • My area doesn't have ALL these choices!

Please send me a  few lemon ginger ones. The girl scout here didn't have them available! :(

I thought about asking if I could order more. Maybe I'll send you the ones I bought. They were a wild card anyway.
