1. Do you still celebrate Valentines day?
2. If you yes, what do you typically do? dinner, movie, cards, presents? If no, why?
Re: Poll: Valentines Day
1. Do you still celebrate Valentines day? We never really celebrated it. even when we were just dating.
2. If you yes, what do you typically do? dinner, movie, cards, presents? If no, why? 2-3 times Dh has sent me flowers or chocolates, and I might get him a little card or itunes gc. We definitely don't go out. I hate the vday crowds.
1. Do you still celebrate Valentines day? so, so
2. If you yes, what do you typically do? dinner, movie, cards, presents? If no, why? We don't have any plans this year. It seems like with each year it doesn't seem as important. The past couple of years we celebrated with more of a date night sometime around Valentines day.
1. We never really did, maybe just out for lunch or dinner.
2. Just a date night or something - never dinner on the actual day, too busy! We don't have anything planned this year, but we'll be spending the weekend in San Diego.
1. Do you still celebrate Valentines day? eh sometimes
2. If you yes, what do you typically do? dinner, movie, cards, presents? If no, why? We normally like to avoid restaurants at all costs. We went out our first year together and it wasnt worth it. It was a super nice restaurant but they tried to pack in as many ppl as possible so we were basically on other people's laps. Typically we'll do cards, H will get me flowers and we'll either do take out or make a special dinner. This year we've been itching to get out of town so the timing just worked out that we're going to SD v-day wkend.
We don't really celebrate even though it's the anniversary of us meeting. One year I made dinner and he attempted dessert. He doesn't do cards. I usually get him a card and cutesy things, but we've been so busy that I haven't done anything.
My parents will be here this weekend and my mom wants to go out to dinner. Ugg. I hate crowds, but I guess we'll go. Last year they were here and I was surprised by a delivery of roses from my dad.
1. Not really. Until last year H was OOT for work over VDay so it's kinda new for us.
2. Last year we stayed at the condo and went to dinner. I more or less used VDay as an excuse to get OOT for a weekend. This year we're going to Disneyland. But I wouldn't be heartbroken or anything if we were just staying home and watching movies. I think next year when its on a weekday, we'll prob just buy cards for each other or something.
