i always take the option to stay over when it's offered.
they're making arrangements for the next 2 nights. i just need a dog sitter.
woo hoo, delicious free dinner! also, shopping for tomorrow's outfit! room service!
watch us get 2 inches, and then the weather service people will be all, "woops, my bag". whatever. i'll miss my dog, but it will be nice to sleep in bed with DH without the pup squeezing in between us.
oh, i just remembered something cute he did the other day. our bed is about 3 inches away from the wall because of the baseboard heater. until we rearrange, this is how we live. the pillows often fall between the bed and the wall.
scrappy goes to bed earlier than we do, so when i walked into the bedroom the other day, i saw him sleeping on the bed, falling in between the bed and the wall. he likes the hotness, but i don't think he realized that he was sort of cooking himself. when i moved him so i could go to bed, he was not happy that he couldn't get back to his in between area.
Re: it hasn't even started to snow, and i'm already snowed in.
Doggie cuteness!
Last night H called Ax Scrappy. I said he couldn't because that name is already taken. However, if it wasn't, Ax sure lives up to the name. He and Jake were playing tug-of-war and Jake wouldn't let go of the toy, so Ax started biting his leg He's a whole head smaller than Jake, but he fights like a big guy.
Also, he played with me for the first time last night. Usually he gets scared when we try to play with him, but not last night. He did the play bow thing and was wiggling his entire body - it was hilarious.
Ax is friggin' adorable. When I dropped him off at the pug director's house so she could watch them for us, she said he was acting like a puppy. I think he has hit the re-set button on his life and he is starting from the beginning. He has the play bow thing down, and does it very well, with a lot of enthusiasm. I don't know how, but he wiggles his entire, tiny body. I think he favorite thing is to lay on the couch with a blanket - that's my boy!
