WW

Ok ladies...so can someone please explain to me how the point system works??

Re: WW

  • Well, it's pretty simple. Based on your age, weight and activity level, you are assigned a certain amount of "points" you can eat every day. The more you weigh, the more points you get.

Every food you eat has a point on the ww system. They give you this little calculator and booklet to help you figure out how many points you are eating. You have to write every single thing you eat down - this was a dealbreaker for me. I just couldn't write everything down, it was such a PITA, even more than having to weigh in at the meetings every week. Oh and you get extra activity points if you exercise, and a prescribed amount of "flex points" for holidays and special events, etc...

I know people who have been very successful on the program though, so it's definitely worth a shot.
