DIY Lube with flax seeds?

Anyone done this? Has anyone heard of this?

I have flax seeds...I think I'll try it today

did you watch the video? you boil the flax seeds in water and then the water turns to like a gel. 

you guys are cracking me up...I figured since I already have flax seeds why not try it?

It looks better then store bought lube crap!   And if it can double as a hair gel that's a double win in my book!   I have a friend who liked the flavored lube stuff and then wonders why she has UTIs all the time.  I told her next time just use chocolate syrup... it's basically the same thing!

Sorry, no I couldn't watch it at work. I don't use lube but I've read that coconut oil works just fine.

saliva is a great natural lubricant.

Flavoured lube is sugar-free, so it's not really the same as chocolate syrup.

Coconut oil is fine... unless you use condoms. Not a good idea then.

I tend toward spit where needed. Free, easy, clean.

I haven't tried it. We did say we were going to try coconut oil this week since I just bought a GALLON of it Not only have we started including it in our diets daily but I've started using it as a moisturizer for me and ds. I asume a lube isn't that far off from a moisturizer.

DH smokes still.  I cannot handle when he tries to use his spit.  Ew, ew, ew!!!  So when we need some extra help, I prefer lube.

yeah we use condoms as our only form of birth control...

do you think this will be safe to use with condoms?
