Board Fix Updates

Hey Mods,

We?ve had a few fixes today that include:

Speed increase.
?Most Recently Active? fix.
Non-mods getting moderator capabilities fix.
Issues with being users being taken to a new board when posting a thread and when a post shows up on a different board fix.
Lag time fix.
Post appearing with incorrect avatar fix.
Error and time out fix.

Please let me know if you or anyone on your board has a problem with the above since late afternoon. The team will be moving forward on more fixes and I will keep you updated.

One of the girls on my board has a profile that comes up with an error when you click on her name: AlwaysABridesmaid...  I think it might have to do with the ... at the end of her name.

Do you know anything about these nest glitches?  Every time I try to post or comment, I get sent to "update my profile".  I've emailed Anni about it and it's still happening.  Driving me crazy.

I was going to reply and say "me too" and of course, it happened when I replied.  It is really annoying.

There are a couple of posters on my board with the same issue.  They have special characters in their name and can't access their profile.  I sent a post about to Annie...maybe last week?  I can't remember exactly.

We've been having the same Nest issue on the Caribbean with it randomly taking you to update your information.  Today Noisy got the message, but when she clicks Update, it tells her that her screen name is invalid because it has an underscore in it.  So she can't post at all.

Thanks for an update on the fixes!

A poster on my board with an & in her name is now able to post, so at least some special characters are working.  Hopefully IT can add provisions for more special characters, and also not allow any more screennames to use them in the first place.

Just a quick note on this. We had one post show up on Boston that should have been on CT. A bug ticket has been put in for this.

On a positive note, you can now "Stop Email Replies" from the board. This featued is in working order. Very handy for not flooding your inbox.

I usually just C&P the URL and leave it as-is - is that working for you?  It's been fine for me.

It's fine on my work computer today. I just dislike the look of the c&p. I find it interrupts flow. Grammar geeky of me, I know.
