Hi! I've been reading the posts on here for a few weeks now and figured it was time to jump in. I'm a Landscape Architecture candidate at UGA and just starting my very first veggie garden this year. I've grown lots of herbs in the past and am venturing into roses that I inherited with our house. We are also about to order some trees through the National Arbor Day foundation so that's going to be going in the ground too. Anyway, hopefully I can learn lots from you all and contribute a little bit of my knowledge as well.
Oh, does anyone know anything about vermicomposting? I got a worm composter for Christmas and haven't had the time to really read into it too much and get it going.
Re: Hi! Newbie
Hey! I'm a Hort student at UGA and my brother did the LAR program. *waves*
ETA: If you set your age correctly, we're the same age!

Welcome! I'm changing careers into landscape design and have met several MLAs from UGA!
No idea re: vermincomposting, though. Report back when you've started it, though!
Hi! I'm new here, too--this is my first post in this forum. There is some great advice here about how to make a vermicomposting bin here:

I've been planning on making my own, but haven't gotten around to it, yet. Good luck!
