BUTTER COOKIE ARE YOU IN ONE PIECE ZOMG!

Seriously, though, how bad was that wind last night?  I was expecting to see trees and branches down on my way to work this morning, but luckily there were very few.  Are things okay by you?  They're saying gusts up to 60 mph.  Holy guacamole.

Re: BUTTER COOKIE ARE YOU IN ONE PIECE ZOMG!

  • I'll be honest: I got home at 5:30 and didn't leave. I had no idea there WAS wind until I opened the door this morning and it tried to murder one of my cats, because the wind shoved it open. Luckily I caught it (with my shin, ouch, but at least fat boy is ok) but the wind was shoving me into other lanes on the way to work!

I had NO idea it would be like that today! Are YOU in one piece?

Hmmm, so barely one piece.  At the moment, it's a lot calmer here.  At about 3:30 this a.m., it sounded like all hell was breaking loose outside.  Supposedly this will last all day, so I guess I'll see if it picks up again down here.

Stay safe!  Is it still gusty up by you, or has it tapered off since your drive in?

  • The trees would indicate it's tapered off. I hope so. FI has to get on the roads and the man is not as conscious as he should be when he drives.
