H is at home curled up with FatCat. I had to pull my butt into the City. I'm hoping the office will close early. I want to get home tonight and I'm kind of worried that the subway will be a problem.

We're suppose to get some snow, but I'm not going to bring it up, because the DC folks with laugh at me.

We're getting the same storm at the DC people so I can mention it. I'm hoping to be closed tomorrow since we're not closed today.

do you have the option of a hotel room if things get bad? regardless if you want it or not, just curious if your company offers it to the employees.

We've had six snow days in a row. One is nice, but six is a recipe for stir-craziness.

I won't complain about my six inches.  It is just enough to be pretty and not enough to cause too much trouble.  Although schools are out, but that doesn't really affect me.  DH works about six blocks away, so he doesn't have trouble getting to work.  And of course my commute is is also very easy, so we're fine.  Now if only both the dogs were willing to get their feet wet, we would be set.

i just hate having to scramble for dog care. i really don't mind the snow because i work so close to the hotel.

as a matter of fact, we're making the best of things...i get a dinner credit on the room, so DH and i will be having a romantic dinner and then going back to the room for room service dessert.

i won't lie, though. if he didn't have to work, i'd have stayed home and either taken a snow day paid off, or worked from the comforts of my livingroom and stretchy PJ pants. dog-in-lap notwithstanding.

Did you hear we're supposed to get more on Saturday and Monday?  I think Saturday is only supposed to be around an inch though
