Gossip, a b-day card, and a gripe

1. BFF is back. After I sent her that "you're being an effing idiot" text and stopped talking to her, she got her business together. Anyway, she's trying to get child support from Baby Daddy. When she called the office, the woman told her recognized his name.

D'oh!

His last name is pretty uncommon, so I'm hoping that's what she meant. Although, he does have 7 kids with 5 different women and maybe she was saying she sees his name a lot. I'm happy BFF saw the light because she seems a lot happier and is back to her normal self. We'll see what happens when the next man comes along and she's in love.

2. I found her b-day card. On the front, it says, "The good die young..." inside, "Usbitches live forever."

3. Valentime's Day cards are lame. They come off as far too cheesy/lovey dovey or too friendly/please don't read anything more into this because it's just a card.

1.  Yeah, sometimes you keep friends forever, regardless.  They just fade in and out at times.

2.  That bday card is OSSUM.

3.  Yes, I don't like VD, one part is just this reason.

I always try to find a humorous VD card for H.  Nothing overly mushy nor anything too friendly.  Once, he gave me a VD gift and said he made me a card.  The card was made from a plain piece of paper, he drew a heart on the front and the inside said, "What more can I say?  I married you, didn't I?  Romantically yours, H."

My ex got me a b-day card one year that said, "Birthdays are like periods...you hate to see them coming, but you're in big trouble if they don't."

Most women would've been offended. That was the best card I've ever gotten.
