AW: surprise b-day party
Yesterday was my 30th birthday and I thought K and I were going to keep it really simple and get take out or something. But when I got home from work the house was decorated (Thanks to Abba916!) and it was obvious we would have guests coming over. K had gone out and gotten all my favorite foods, mac & cheese, eggplant parmesan, salad, wings, apples (well that was for the baby) and the BEST cheesecake from a local bakery that I adore. Then a few friends showed up and we had a very low key dinner just hanging out. There were two babies there so of course we toured the nursery which seemed to get the babies' approval and spent plenty of time oohhh-ing and aahhhh-ing at their cuteness. It was a very fitting way to wrap up my 20s.
