Restaurant recommendations: Downtown, Design District , Brickell Area
Hi Ladies!!! Hope everyone is having a good day!
Alex and I will be staying at a downtown hotel on Valentine's Day and would like to eat around that area. I have been looking for restaurants, but it's always nice to get recommendations! Do you have any that you recommend?

My favorite restaurant in downtown is IL Gabbiano. It's an Italian restaurant right by the bay. We have been there two Valentines day in a row.

If you don't mind driving down to the beach I would say you might want to check out Barton G. They are all about good food with a spectacular presentation.

I called Il Gabbiano and they are closed on Sundays and they will not open on Valentine's Day. I will have to go check it out another time.
I am not sure about Barton G - I feel that they will be rushing us like your typical SoBe restaurant and specially more for that day... I want to take my time, but I have wanted to go there a lot.
Aww it sucks that IL Gabbiano is closed on Sunday. It's such a lovely place. I have never been to Barton G on Valentine. But I can tell you that the time we did go the service was excellent. Good luck in your restaurant search.
