My aunt is giving me two of these:
One belonged to her mother and one was hers when she was a child, so I'm sure they're going to need a bit of work. I love and want them, but I have no idea what to do with them. I'll try to go over there tonight and get pictures of the actual machines.

Re: What do I do with them?
I have the exact same one that you posted. I use it as an endtable of sorts, it's in between my two couches. I'll take a picture for you tonight. It doesn't match my house at all, but it's old and beautiful and I love it.
I also think they are neat as entryway tables, if you have an entryway or under a window.

I could also put it in the bedroom with a mirror over it and store my perfume bottles on top.

I've seen them used as the holder for pedestal sinks in cool ways...
but that's probably not in the cards for most people :-)
My aunt did the same thing Nico's grandma did. It was her kitchen table for years, and I too used to love pushing the pedal when I was little.
My mom has one in her basement that she's been meaning to refurbish for years. I would use it as a desk or end table.
