Old magazines
I have a bunch of old (not very old) magazines, mostly Better Homes and Gardens and Food Network Magazine that I need to get rid of in an effort to de-clutter. I don't want to just throw them in the recycling and wanted to donate them instead. Anyone know of a good place that accepts them, like a woman's shelter or something like that?

I'd probably donate them to the library even though I'm sure they probably get them already. Or maybe an elementary or middle school. They can use some of the pictures for projects.
Nursing homes like them too.
I have asked Leander Lib and they don't take magazines!! Which I thought that was strange,
I would actually love them for personal use, but then I can donate them easily since I work for a shelter.

If that doesn't work out, let me know. I teach Food Science and Interior Design so we always need more mags to cut from and more recipes for kids to use for various things. Or TexanSarah....maybe you can let me know when you're done.
