Do you have a safety pin?

I was asked this today by a male CW. Apparently his zipper broke.

Before lunch.

He went and ate lunch, but did not go home to change.

His house is not far. (EDIT: It does not snow here  )

He.stapled.them.shut.

The staples ripped open.

I'm not sure exactly how it looks to staple pants, because I have (obviously) averted my eyes.

I'm sure it's fine though, because of a tucked in shirt. It's not often that someone staples their pants though.

Lawd, I need to go home soon. I just had a chance to get lunch though.

In catholic school we used to staple the hems of our skirts all the time. I've never seen it done to pants though.

Did you do it sitting on a stool behind the counter in the main area of where you work? Hmm?

He had the opportunity to go and change though. Just odd to me. We all work closely so maybe he didn't think it was weird.

uh, no, I stole the stapler and hid in the bathroom until my ass wasn't hanging out :-)

Although I do keep an extra safety pin in my purse at all times.

but///zippers can usually be fixed w/ rubber bands.

I had this happen to me on my first day at a new job in a pair of pants that zipped up the back.  I went to the bathroom mid-morning and my zipper broke when I tried to pull it back up.  I had on a sweater that was almost long enough to cover it, but I never really fit in at that job and I blame it on being labeled as weird back to the wall girl on my first day.  I wish I would have thought of staples, but then I would have just been weird stapler in the bathroom girl.
