Vanessa...and those who haven't booked a baby photog. yet
I saw this posted on another board and thought it was a great way to find an "up and coming" photographer like I mentioned in my previous post... I don't venture onto many other boards so didn't even know about this...it's a great idea 
post your request for a photographer on the bump PHOTO board, skip the part about money, (although you could mention you're on a tight bidget) and say whether or not you'd be willing to consider someone just starting out, or "portfolio building." They should have something to show you, as far as what they've done, what gear they shoot with, etc.
Give them your email or ask for PM'.... no one can do biz on that board out loud.
There's some serious talent on that board, and I bet someone lives in your area. You may be able to find someone to "grow" with, and meet with them as your baby grows, and someday, when they're charging $250 + prints, you'll say you knew them when! ;-)
