What do you do with a toddler in winter?
I'm getting some serious cabin fever and can't stand this work.home.work.home.work.home.store.home.work business that's been going on for the last 3 months. I need to get out! What fun things are there to do in the area with a toddler that a budget friendly?
Re: What do you do with a toddler in winter?
I cannot wait to take future kids to the Children's Museum in Bettendorf.
When I worked in day care we did alot of indoor stuff.... made playdogh from scratch (keeps well in an airtight container), snow in big tubs to play with inside when it's too cold outside, large motor activities all the way! Snow ice cream, dress-up, etc. I could go on forever on that stuff.
What about the Y? Or Parks and Rec programming? DH's mom took the kids to the pool a lot in the winter.
Thanks for the ideas! DD LOVES the snow so that's a really great idea with bringing it indoors!
We're going to check out the childrens museum on Monday - they're having free admission from 5-8.
