I am a first grade teacher!!
I got the job!! The interview lasted like 20 minutes - they asked me about my plan for classroom discipline, my experience teaching, and if I had any questions, then called me a few hours later to offer me the job!

I started pre-planning today . . . meetings ALL day long and several more to go. Sigh.
If anybody knows anybody who needs a job being a guidance counselor for an Elem school, let me know. (Our old one retired after she got married and the new one was n't a good fit -- so we don't have a guidance couselor!) It is SO odd -- b/c we always have people who want to work at my school -- we have never been short this close before. Hope we get somebody good!!
