Master Bath Update

Remediators came by yesterday.  They took out majority of the baseboards in the MBath and my closet- which had to have the floor cleared, total PITA.  We have three commercial fans and a dehumidifier on full blast.  It's not as bad as when we had the whole-house flood at the last place and had 27 fans + dehumids, but still loud/ obnoxious.  The hanging clothes in my closet are now all covered with crap/ carpet padding/ etc blown into the air by the fan.  They'll come back every 24 hrs to check the moisture in the sheetrock until its dry.  Hopefully by Friday bc I don't think I can go a whole weekend not being able to shower/ get ready in my bathroom.

As far as the carpet padding goes, the flooring guy came by yesterday with what we have vs. what we paid for.  Although they look very similar, I was right.  He's going to "do research" to see what the real difference is between the two, a.k.a. formulate a sales pitch to get us to keep what's there.  The big deal is we paid for hypoallergenic padding which has a membrane on the top that doesn't allow dust and dirt particles to get trapped in the carpet padding and makes vacuuming more effective.  I'm not sure what we're going to do but regardless, we will either get the correct padding or get our money back.
