The Snow was Awesome.
I left work early yesterday and went home. It was pretty bad once I got to my area, though in NYC it was nothing.
H and I decided to go to the diner for dinner and ended up playing in the snow on the walk home. We were shoving each other into snow banks, throwing snow balls at each other, and critiqued the snowmen that dotted the area. Our personal favorite:

the snow here wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. it was a ghost town because everything except Target and Walmart was closed. we went to dinner before the restaurant across the street closed, and then dessert in the room.
funny story - we had drinks at the bar. we asked for a shot for each of us of southern comfort and lime. the waiter brought us a shot of SoCo, and a separate shot of lime juice. we laughed and mixed it ourselves. we were nicely tipsy last night.
i am exhausted. i can't wait to go home tonight to pick up my dog ad sleep in my own bed. i might fall asleep at 7pm.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

it looks like there might be 6 inches outside where i work. i am disappointed, but happy i can get home to the dog.
