A friend with 5 kids needs a babysitter next Tuesday b/c she is going back to work nights and there is a gap between when she leaves and when her husband gets home from work. They live an hour away in traffic.
The kids are all sick with the flu since yesterday. We were over there for Super Bowl and I am paranoid about being exposed then.
Why would you even ask your higher-risk pregnant friend to babysit your sick kids??? ick.
I haven't had the flu shots yet (didn't want them in 1st tri) and I get them at my doc appointment on Monday...so only the day before.

Re: Why would she even ask?
Because some people just have nerve. It's amazing how little people think.
I had a backwards situation a few weeks ago. A friend had asked me to watch her two young boys and I was awfully sick. She didnt care. I kept telling her that I would feel horribly if either of them caught it. She still didnt care. Finally I told her that I just felt too bad and couldnt do it but why on earth would you want to do that to your children. Strong immune system or not. ugh..anyway.
I hope she finds someone else but like Rachel said, you are looking out for YOU and noone else.
