Crime doesn't pay when a good citizen is around.
Patient on her way to an appointment stopped in to report a hit and run in the parking lot. White truck hit a parked vehicle. Witness saw the whole thing and was close enough to tell driver she'd better report the accident. Driver ignored the witness and drove off. Witness/Good Citizen took down the license plates of both vehicles.
I called the local PD and was transferred to voicemail. ugh.
