I am quite miserable right now.
I'm still coughing like crazy and it SUCKS. I have tried everything. All the meds, the steroids, the nebulizer, hot tea, a heating pad on my chest, anything and everything. I am feeling a little better, but not nearly as well as I should. My doctor's office wants to send me to a pulmonologist. The first appt they have isn't for two weeks. I cannot wait that long with this awful cough. So, I called back asking for another doctor and they haven't called me back yet. I just want to be rid of it already!!!!

I just want to curl up in bed and stay there until this cough goes away.
Anyone else want to complain?? I somehow feel a little better, although I'm sure you all are tired of hearing me whine about being sick. I just feel like I can't get on with my normal life!

Ugh. I feel for you. You have been sick for sooo long! I have a recommendation, go to someone affiliated with The Miller School of Medicine. They do research and they see everything! They'll fix you up! I really do hope you feel better soon

I have a complaint...
We switched insurances from United to Blue Cross and the date the new insurance went into effect was January 1st. Guess what day I checked into the hospital??? January 1st. However, we were not put into the BCBS system yet, no members ids, no temporary cards, nada.
I have paid about $4,500 that did not go towards my deductible. It went towards nothing because we were in insurance limbo. Now that we do have member ids and such, I am still paying as if I haven't met my deductible (which I had at $4,200). We have a high deductible plan, so we pay what the insurance pays, until we meet that deductible.
Long story short, I have spent over $8k in medical bills in about a month and a half. It's freakin INSANE. The money will be returned to me after the claims are processed, but who knows when that will be!? Just yesterday I authorized over 2k for my medication on my credit card.
I seriously went to the hospital at the worst time ever. The thought of spending all this money makes my stomach hurt

WHAT!!!?? Oh no, that is awful!! I can't imagine that you would be stuck with all those expenses just because your insurance was in the process of changing. I was on the BCBS high deductible plan last year and we had a high deductible we had to meet as well, but after that, everything should be covered at 80%, right?
Ugh its a huuuuge mess. Yes, once I meet the deductible (for the second time now since the first one went to nothing) then I won't have to pay for anything else the rest of the year.
Until then, each time I go to the doctor it's like $100 or more, medications are $200 for my DH and my medication is over $2k. But, I think we should meet it within the next week so this madness will stop!
Eli I am so sorry! I have been reading your fb statuses on your being sick and it kills me. I hope you get better soon.
My complaint is not nearly as serious so I reallllly shouldnt talk but....I have been waiting for an important phone call all week and still nothing and its driving me CRAZY! I cant elaborate here too much but it could potentially be a very good thing for my career. Uuuugh I hate waiting!
This happened to me once. It was when I first started working at a real job with insurance and I was still on my moms. Its a very bad thing to have two insurances apparently. I learned the hard way. GL trying to correct it. You need to bill the insurance you had originally first.
My friend is actually waiting for a callback from a job this week. She has been going crazy!

Michi - That sucks. I hope it all gets sorted out soon. Insurance companies are great at requesting money but when it comes to giving back money they suddenly start working at a snail pace.

My complain is nowhere near as bad as all yours. I feel guilty even complaning. But here goes. Why is it that every single project, request, question or anything else always ends up at my desk. I know I'm a good employee (not to toot my own horn) but geesh other people can do these things as well. That raise in March better be pretty darn good.

Michi, insurance companies are just ewwwwwww, it is like talking to a wall sometimes. Well i hope everything will work out.
My complaint is this:
I Graduated a year and half ago with a great degree that i put my heart into and after i graduated the economy went down the drain (BOOOO). I can't find a job and some days are better then others, but i am so frustrated. I feel like nobody wants to give me a chance and i feel like why did i go get a degree if i can't find a job. So last week i called this guy who was recommended to me to see if he can help me with a job and i called he was so nice and he told me to call him back in a week, because he would have to speak to the owner of the company if he knows anyone or can help. So i call him today and he did not remember me at all and plus he was just not nice like he didnt care and didn't want to help. He said that he forgot to ask about me and that he will go and ask the owner about my position , but the funny thing is he did not even tell me to call him back or ask me for number so he can call me. So it shows even when you know someone in this economy it does not help. I am just frustrated!!!!

So here's my complaint:
DH lost his job on Friday after 4 years with the company and without warning (they're downsizing due to less than expected Q4 earnings)...he's been looking non-stop for a new job...hopefully something works out!--but he filed for unemployment and they said it can take up to 3-4 weeks for them to make a final decision and for him to start receiving benefits...ugh...I hope something happens before then. On top of that I found out I'm getting laid off at one of the schools (I've been there for about 3 years now) I teach at, at the end of the month. They had to cut classes due to a smaller number of students, but it just would have been nice to know a few weeks ago, rather than now, so I could have planned better.
And one last thing...I promise...I'm still waiting on one of my W-2's in the mail...I figured I would have had both of them by now and I only have one...I can't go get my taxes done yet and it's driving me crazy!
We're trying to stay positive...but it's not the easiest thing to do!
