Boss Lady got me a monogrammed messenger bag as part of my going-away gift. It's a cute brown canvas bag and I'd planned on using it as a camera bag if I need to.

I just opened the thing and realized it's got a changing pad in it. And now that I'm actually looking at it, the damn thing's a diaper bag! It's got room for bottles & other baby schit.

I don't think she realizes it. She's not the type to send not-so-subtle messages. But still. How did this happen, and WTF?

Hahaha. If it's a nice bag I say throw out the changing pad and use it anyway. I'm guessing the spots meant for bottles aren't quite big enough for lenses though.

Sure, it's possible. But the vendor she got it from knows us and should've caught it. Unless he was just trying to get rid of a sample or something (which is a definite possibility).

you can use the changing pad for when you're taking pics in the streets of DC or whever the heck you go, and maybe you need to rest but there aren't any seats. Or, maybe you need to get really low to the ground to get a really good shot, but that's too close to the schmutz on the sidewalk.

 

wahlah, whip out the changing pad and you have a comfy little thing to kneel or sit on.
