I was reading a blog last week and the writer was making homemade kombucha. I've never even heard of the drink before this, but it looks like fun to make!
I'd love to taste it but I have no idea where to find some. I looked at Trader Joe's but they didn't have any.
What's it like? How do you serve it?

This. It's a strange flavor and it sometimes has chunks of the "mushroom" in it. I wanted to like it because I've heard it's good for your immune system and has other benefits but it wasn't my thing.
I LOVE it!
I don't buy all the health benefits, but I figure it is better than pop! I like sour bubble stuff so this fits the bill perfectly.
I brew my own sometimes but mine never comes out as good as GT Dave's. It is definitely a bit of an acquired taste (getting a mouthful of the mushroom freaked me out at first) but if it was cheaper I would drink it daily.
Around here quite a few people brew there own, so it is easy to get a SCOBY (mushroom) from someone local. You can also grow a SCOBY from a bottle of unflavored GT Daves.
