Have you ever walked out of a movie?

Re: Have you ever walked out of a movie?

  • Also, if you do it in the first 1/2 hour, they'll refund your money.
  • Thay didn't last 10 minutes apparently.  The other one they walked out on was 40 Year Old Virgin.
  • We basically only go to movies that we know we're going to enjoy.
  • I said yes. I think I've done it maybe 3 times - Fletch Lives, The Piano (great movie, but not first date material), and it seems like there was a third.

  • I have not. I came close to walking out of Bruce Almighty, because exH was having a meltdown about the voices Jim Carrey was hearing, but something snapped, I gave him my keys and asked him to wait in the car, and finished the movie.

I've seen the line for a theater and asked for a refund, but that doesn't count as walking out.

  • Yep. An ex boyfriend and I walked out of Cable Guy.

I'd have walked out of Johhny Pneumonic if I knew it was as bad as it was. (I was on a date and we were making out. At least it wasn't Schindler's List!)

  • Yes.  The Horse Whisperer (first 30 minutes) and Nacho Libre (last 30 minutes).

  • Mom walked out of a production of CATS in England once. She said they all seemed drunk. They lasted 10 minutes before they just couldn't stand it any more.

  • I walked out of a 'circus' that was supposed to be a 'cirque de solie' (sp) knockoff in Myrtle Beach...

I was w/ my baby sis, she'd scored tickets and we left at the break.  tres AWFUL.

  • I walked out of *** Tracy. I think that's it, though.

I wanted to walk out of Thin Red Line, but I was on a date. He enjoyed it. We didn't go on another date.

    ..
  • my bff and i walked out of My Boyfriend's Back.

never heard of it?  yeah, tha'ts because it sucked.

  • Kat - was that the one where the boyfriend died and came back as a zombie or something?  I think I saw it, too.  But we watched the whole thing because I'm sure we had to wait on our parents to come pick us up afterward.
