AW: DH had a Daddy shower today!
His co-workers surprised him! We got all kinds of swag too: the swing from our registry, lots of adorable outfits, rattles and toys, and a 100GC.
Seriously, we are so blessed and happy to have this many people who care about us and our LO.
DH was very thrilled to surprise me when he came home.

At my work when someone (or their wife) has a baby, we send a giant fancy Diaper Cake... WAY better than flowers (that die) and easier than getting everyone together for a party
What's a diaper cake?
They look like tiered wedding cakes, but they're made from diapers and other baby goodies.. like this .. I've made some for friends before as well.. it's fun to do if you're crafty

when my mom was going to be a grandma for the 1st tim her sisters threw her a surprize grandma shower, (just told her it was for my preggo sil..
she was sup surprized she got some gifts too, she got grandma stuff, photo albums and sundae kits and other grandma stuff!
i cannot wait to do the same thing for my FMIL my Fi is an only child so the 1st gbaby will be from me!
