Another CT Scan
I called the oncologist's office today and explained that I really didn't know what my next step was - he had mentioned CT scan, biopsy, another trip to see him, but nothing was scheduled as far as I knew.
The nurse said he wants a CT of my neck, that the ultrasound isn't as detailed (US was done 12/31). So I am going in on Monday for a CT of my neck, with contrast. I only have to get the IV contrast, so I don't have to drink that nasty barium again.
After the CT, he is going to make a decision about the biopsy. If he wants a biopsy, I think I'm going to the surgeon for that before going back to the oncologist. If he doesn't think a biopsy is needed, then I just get to go back to him and figure out what we're doing.
Still don't know anything, and I'm getting tired of the holding pattern.

Im sure its just a long process, its hard to wait to get answers when you are dealing with your health! I couldnt imagine. Hang in there lady!
