SNH Moms..would this interest you?
I was thinking of contacting a local movie theater..either CInemagic in Merrimack or CHunky's in Nashua to see if they would consider having a "Cry Baby Matinee" once a week or so for all of us Moms with little ones who miss out on the movies. I know they do this in other places and it supposedly works out well because everyone there has children, so no one minds the crying..hence the name! Just wondering if anyone else thinks it would be a fun idea??

Re: SNH Moms..would this interest you?
There's one in the LowelI area that does this once a week in the morning (like a special 10am showing). I can't remember exactly which one but maybe the AMC? It's probably online.
Ditto what Heather said. I think it's a really good idea but I know myself well enough not to be delusional. I would be kidding myself if I believed I was going to actually *watch* the movie.
For those who can do this, though, really fun idea!!!
They used to do those at the theater in Londonderry on Wednesday mornings when Jakob was a baby and I brought him once. It was great, they kept the lights dim and even had little baby changing "stations" with wipes down at the front of the theater!
They stopped doing them due to lack of interest, though!
Found it. It's the Showcase Cinemas in Lowell that does it. Tuesdays at 10am. Here's the link.
