Small town feel in NoVa?
SO and I currently live in Maryland, with me working in Baltimore and him working in DC. Since I have work at home options and he does not, we are seriously consider making a move to Northern Virginia to shorten SO's commute. We want something with a small town feel. No suburban sprawl for us. I know about Alexandria and we're going to check it out. Does anyone have suggestions for other places to look? Once the roads clear we plan to start making day trips to check out the areas we may be interested in. FWIW, we're looking at houses in the $350-400k range.
