What do you think is the best

place to buy home appliances?

We need a new fridge ... It talks (and by talks I mean growls and rumbles and is dying)... and scares the sh!t out of people at our house.

Re: What do you think is the best

  • I would research and find out what kind of fridge you want and then see who has the best deal on them.
  • We looked at home improvement stores, sears, sears's outlet, fry's and craigslist.  Energy star appliances meet certain criteria, and most fridges we looked at listed approximate energy costs, which was useful for figuring out relative and actual efficiency.  Once we found some we liked at prices we were willing to pay we looked up reviews and chose with efficiency, price and reviews in mind.
