Where do you buy your foam bottles for your homemade hand soap?

Re: Adb6283/SuperGreen

  • I actually just reused the ones I had.  Previously I had bought the Bath & Body works antibacterial foaming soap and wanted something that would work and not be antibacterial and would be more eco friendly.

So I just put that stuff in the Bath & Body works bottles and it works like a charm.

I'd imagine you could use any empty soap bottles you have around to do the same job.

  • Do you use oils to scent yours at all?
  • I bought the Lavender scented Dr. B's, so no.  Once that bottle is gone (which should be about 1,000 years from now it seems like since I bought the HUGE bottle) I think I'll buy unscented Dr B's and use vanilla or cinnamon EO's or fragrance oils.  Would prefer the EO's, but if not available in scents I love, I'd go fragrance too.

  • I was planning to check out Food Works in Smithfield/Greenville on Rt. 5 to see what EO's they have there.

  • Sorry for not responding sooner, had a busy weekend of baby making Wink.  I also reuse what I already had.  The label is totally rubbed off by now, but I think it was originally a Method bottle?  I add 1 part lavender Dr. B's to 9 parts water.  Works great.  You can get nicer bottles on Amazon.
