NCAA ban on eye black messages

http://www.ajc.com/sports/ncaa-proposes-ban-on-300723.html

"No word on whether aspiring pro Tebow might change his surname to Johnthreesixteen, a la Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco (nee Johnson)."

Re: NCAA ban on eye black messages

  • Baha - the quote was funny.

    It's only fair, I guess. I never saw a problem with it and could care less what players wore on their eye black. However, it only takes one brave soul who wants to put something "controversial" for the whole NCAA world to be turned upside down.

    Let's see how this goes...

  • Figures someone from Georgia would say that about Tebow. I've got no problem with the eye black messages. Couldn't this be a freedom of speech issue? I think it's harmless really.

    NCAA =/= government

  • I don't think this is unreasonable.  It's only a matter of time before players start endorsing products on eyeblack, anyway. Stick out tongue

    Oh, and Tebow >>> Chad Johnson.  No comparison.  Wink
