Oh man...
Last year, a crazy kid busted into a HS weight room in Iowa and shot the football coach six times in the head, killing him. It was all over the national news.
The trial started this week.
Two of sFIL's nephews go to that school and were in the weight room that morning. One of them (16yo) was called to testify this afternoon. The other one (18yo) may or may not be called, they don't know yet.
I just read the one's testimony online and it just breaks my heart. These kids saw a man get murdered, shot point-blank in the face six times. And now they're reliving it. I hope they'll be alright.
