I've finally decided to switch over to Bare Minerals. What are the must-have's? I don't wear a lot of make-up but I know I'll need some type of powder/foundation.
Re: Bare Minerals Must Haves
I would go for the foundation and the mineral veil at the very least.... plus the brushes for each.
I also use the bronzer for blush, and eye shadow. I love that stuff!
I just did this - and I got the starter kit. It was def a good buy, IMO. I'm loving it, it's light makeup so it shouldn't feel weird to you. You find your coloring and get that kit and it comes w/ 2 things of foundation so you can play w/ the shade that will match your skin tone best... and it comes w/ all the nesc brushes, and the mineral veil pps have mentioned.
Have fun
I agree with the others, I found the starter pack to be worth the price. When compared to what you'd pay for each item individually, it made sense. For the brushes, I regularly use the big face brush, the buki brush, and the concealer brush. For the products, I reguarly use 1 foundation shade, the blush, and the mineral veil. Sometimes, I use the "well-rested" eyeshadow on my (many) pimples, it seems to help neutralize the redness. It was good to order the kit to have the option of two shades of foundations, I think when it's the dead of winter I might end up using the lighter color more.
