Nail and Brunch reqs needed

I am taking a friend out to get our nails done and to brunch next Sunday.  I'd like to do something in Lincoln Square, North Center, Andersonville, Southport, Roscoe Village, or Lakeview.  It would be nice if the nail place and restaurant were close to one another.  Restaurant needs to be gluten free friendly.  Recommendations?  Thanks

  • For Southport, I swear by Pinky's.  Ask for Eunice.  As far as a gluten free menu, there are a few places around that have gluten-free items.  I know many people like Southport Grocery, but I am not sure if they have gluten-free items.  You can try out Wilde on Broadway.  I know they have a gluten-free menu.

  • I live in Andersonville and really like 2x10 Nails (make an appointment) and you will nevery do better brunch than M. Henry.  Taste of Heaven is closer to the nail place and pretty tastey too.  There is also Iscosium Cafe, Svea and Ann Sathers.

For Gluten Free try Kopi Cafe.  They are vegetarian and may lend themselves well to that.

  • I second Pinky's on Southport!  But can't recommend any gluten-free menus.

  • The 2X10 nail salon on Roscoe (2112 Roscoe) is really nice too!!!  There is a vegan brunch place that is right near there called Victory Banner, not sure if its Gluten free though...  I have never been there but its ALWAYS packed.  There are about 4-5 brunch places right there on Roscoe, Near Damen that you could look over menus and decide which one would fit best.
  • Definitely Essential Nail Spa on Clark and Dickens, by far my favorite!
