  • AWESOME!  I am going to put this in DH's V-day card!!  We are both engineers, and have, on occasion, written code and math equations saying "I love you" or other romantic things.

    9x-7i > 3(3x-7u) =Multiply it out:9x-7i > 9x-21u = Cancel the "9x"s on each side:-7i > -21u =Divide by -7 (which flips the > to a <):i <3u (OR I kiss you - i <3 u) ETA: I hope I didn't make some silly typo in there.  That would be embarrassing, lol. 

     

  • I think it's really sad that I got As in my college algebra classes... and for the LIFE of me can't remember how to do problems like that :-p

    Which just proves how good I am at memorizing steps and exactly how poorly I am at really understanding math!
