Vacation ideas in/around TN???
Just moved to the Nashville area a couple months ago... We're looking to plan a week of vacation time this summer. We are East Coasters, so used to heading to the beach for summer vacation. What do you ladies recommend in or around TN? Lake house? Resort? Spa? We will be celebrating our son's first birthday, so we are looking for something low key and kid friendly. TIA

Get a cabin in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Nice and relaxing in the mountains. Tourist season hasn't really hit yet, so the traffic isn't bad around this time. Also, Dollywood is in Pigeon Forge - this is a GREAT place for kids! Lots of things to do, Nascar Speed Park, putt putt, go-karts, shopping - fun for the whole family!
