Happy First Married Valentines Day!!!

I was just thinking to day that even though Valentines Day is often referred to as a "Hallmark Holiday" it's still that one day a year that one can be overly cheesy and lovey dovey in expressing their feelings for the people they love......Annnnnd it's my first opportunity to by a "Husband" card!!! Soooo Happy Valentines Day to my fellow October 09 Knotties and I hope your first Valentines Day as married couples is fantastic!!!!

I know what you mean about the card!  I just realized that I didn't get DH a card... oops... eh, he'll never realize it.  He got me one when he gave me my gift last week (we can never seem to wait for the actual holiday).  It said "to my sweet wife," and I said, "Aww, it says 'wife' on the card!"  He looked at me like I had 2 heads and said, "uh, that's what you are now."  Yes, duh, it's just cute.

I know I went to buy a card and realized it could say husband on there. LOL. There were better options for some reason that said special someone, but I settled for another card just because it said husband.

Happy First Valentine's Day! DH gave me some goodies early, which was awesome b/c I had a miserable day at work that day. I have his card right here, I'll leave it with his breakfast when I leave for work. it has an old woman pinching her old man husband's butt. Yup! For many years to come!

HAPPY VDAY!! Today is one of my fav holidays. I woke up and dh had decorated the house with garland and signs and confetti and he bought me a tripod for my camera and a little cupcake jewelry box. He made me breakfast and then took me to St. Augustine for the day. We just got back and are staying in the rest of the day (since its the Daytona 500 and traffic is CRAZY). He is cooking me dinner tonight and making choc. covered strawberries. I cant wait!! Today is the best day ever!!!

Happy V Day!! I'll admit I also chose a certain card just cause it said "husband" on it. I felt like I had to...  I made DH chocolate covered strawberries and he's making dinner tonight- which is a treat cause he never cooks.  Nothing as elaborate as in years past but that's fine withe me- I don't get too excited over this holiday.

I have to admit, I loved being able to look at the "husband" cards! I actually ended up getting DH two - one sweet and one silly. We were OOT for my friend's wedding over the weekend, and he surprised me with breakfast in bed yesterday! Last night we just stayed in and made steak sandwiches. Also, I'm getting an iPhone next week!

DH was gone for Valentines so I had dinner with my parents. He gave me a card which was sweet. I didn't get him one. Maybe I'll get him one today...on sale. LOL
