Re: Recommend your dishwasher detergent and rinse aid

  • We use Ecover tablets (cut in half) and Wave Jet rinse aid.  We've tried Seventh Generation and some brands we got in bulk and Ecover is the only one that has worked for us so far.  Other people have posted the opposite, though, so it must depend on the dishwasher.

  • 7th Generation or Trader Joe's. We don't use a rinse aid.
  • I use Vinegar as a rinse aid.

Currently use 7th Gen as detergent, but I'm not in love with it.  I need to see if I can find eCover.

  • Ecover tabs (usually cut in half as well) for detergent, vinegar for rinse aid.  Both work great.
  • 7th Generation liquid with vinegar as a rinse aid.  I'm not super happy with it, so I'm always on the lookout for something better.  We've already tried Method, Ecover, Earth something (it has a orange on the bottle) and Mrs. Myers.  I think I'm forgetting a few too...

  • EcoStoreUSA for both!  I LOVE their rinse aid.  I'd never used a rinse aid before but decided to try it out and I LOVE it.  My dishes have never looked so clean.

If you click the link in my siggy that says "Eco Blog" I actually have a review and giveaway up for it right now!  The giveaway ($25 gift certificate for the online store) ends tomorrow so if you want to enter do it before then.  It's a nice way to be able to try it out for free and see if you like it.
