got the first taste from my garden!

i'm crazy excited about this, it's the first time i've planted a small garden and managed to not kill it off.  my broccoli is finally ready so my son and I ate some raw a little bit ago and it was really good!  can't beat front yard freshness!

Re: got the first taste from my garden!

  • I am so jealous!  We got an inch of snow today :(

I can't wait for spring so I can get our garden planted!

  • Our veggie garden has snow so high that the fence is covered.  I don't even know where it is anymore.

    You suck.

  • Wow, how nice! How was it?

This is us too.  I can't see where my raised bed is.

Congrats though, homegrown produce is the best.  I'm just jealous and bitter.

  • the broccoli was good!  i pulled up a carrot today to see how they were looking, i'm not sure when you're supposed to pick them, and it was smaller than a store carrot but still tasty!
  • Yes

I failed miserably at my garden last summer. I think I'm going to try a container garden in the front yard this year.
