I saw most of it.  There are some really dumb people in that bunch.  If Miss Teen SC looks smart, it will only be because the other people are so dumb (like Big Brother girl and the cowboys that exchanged all of their money for 'Brazilian'). 

 I felt really bad for the couple that got kicked off.  They were there to help rebuild confidence (and $$$) after losing their life savings in a bad business venture or something, and then he is humiliated on national TV because he is too chicken to get across those ropes?  Poor guy.

I was dying @ the cowboys exchanging for Brazilian money.  That was great!

The gay guy outing Miss Teen SC regarding her gaffe on national TV was a great moment too. 

When Jordan (team Big Brother) said that they needed tickets to 'China', DH said, "She should not be allowed to talk."  I was shocked that they took 1st.

I was *smh* at the chick from team "Mom Esq." when she was talking about carrying the ladder up the hill and then made the reference to Jesus carrying the cross.  I looked at DH and said, "She did NOT just throw Jesus off the cross because she had to carry a ladder up some stairs on a reality show!"

It was a pretty good premiere overall.  I was aghast that two teams got penalties on the first leg.  They're supposed to be fresh and not so desperate that they make mistakes.  IDK if that has ever happened on any other race.  Thankfully, they were short penalties (they sometimes give out ridiculous time penalties).  

The team that didn't finish?  I don't feel sorry for them.  He shouldn't have been so bull headed and she should have done the challenge.  It was obvs. easier for the lighter, smaller people to do it.

My jaw dropped at the Jesus comment, too.  She said "If Jesus could do it, then I could too" as if Jesus were some lazy bozo.  I now fully expect her to walk on water and raise the dead.

Were there two teams that didn't take the funicular (sp?)?   I saw who came in 1st, 2nd and then I think I was off chaning the laundry for most of the people coming in.

One team didn't take the tram (Miss SC and her BF) and another team dropped/lost a paint brush  (gay and straight brothers, I think). 

It was a 30 min penalty for not taking the tram and 15 min for losing the paint brush.

I think it is strange that they would get penalized for the pain brush.  Wouldn't only one person being able to paint at a time be their own penalty?

Oh, and the father/daughter that went inside and started painting the wall when the workers were all WTF?  That was sooo funny!

It was AWESOME!  This is my all time favorite reality show.  I put the kid to bed early so I wouldn't miss anything.  Loved the outing of Miss Teen, loved the inside house painting, loved Jordan and the cowboys! 

I wasn't sorry to see the married couple go.  My early favorite is grandmother/granddaughter.

It's my favorite reality show too!!  DH and I do not miss it for anything.  And it's mostly tame, so the kiddo can watch it with us.
