Madison area photographer recommendation!
We had Kate's newborn pictures taken when she was one week old, and I'm so thrilled with how they turned out that I just have to rave about our photographer. We used Andrea Elberg, a photographer in Madison, WI. Andrea does on location shooting so she came to our house for the session which was so nice! She hauled in all her props, backdrops, and equipment and most of these shots were taken in our kitchen, with some pics taken in Kate's nursery. Being a new mom and still not quite sure what to expect with a newborn, it was such a relief to be in the comfort of our own home where I already had everything I needed for Kate. Andrea was so amazing with Kate that I couldn't believe she's not a mom herself! She was incredibly patient and didn't mind taking as many breaks as Kate needed. She spent about 3 hours with us and was willing to stay as long as she needed to to get the shots. I was so impressed with her work that I booked her "first year" package and will be working with her again for Kate's 3 month pics. Her prices are pretty reasonable too, IMO.
