I am done with regular nail polish, I hate the smell, how it chips away so soon and how it leaves my nails feeling very sensitive. Any recommendations for a ?green? nail polish??
Thanks!
Re: Nail Polish
I've used this Honeybee Gardens polish and liked it except when it came time to remove it. You have to use alcohol or their polish remover and it took a lot of rubbing to get it off. It does get a very good rating on cosmetic safety database.
I have a bottle of No Miss now and I like it. I can't find it on cosmetic safety database so I'm not sure how it compares to other brands.
Tired after a long morning of hiking and swimming.
When I grew sick of conventional nail polish I stopped wearing it. Within a few weeks, my finger and toenails were the healthiest, most beautiful I'd ever seen them. My fingernails grow nice and strong now, the tips are so white it looks like I've got a french manicure or something. I highly recommend not wearing polish at all.
This. Their base coat and polishes are great. I use Posh? Super Fast Drying Topcoat (available at most drugstores) which is my favorite quick dry top coat hands down of any brand. Neither brand is vegan, but both are free of the smelly chemicals that many other brands use.
Essie and OPI are also moving to formaldehyde-free polishes as well but I am almost exclusively wearing Zoya colors now.
I haven't worn nail polish in over a year because I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to something in regular nail polish. My nails were always brittle and SICKO. But, I miss my blue nail polish. I used to wear it like 99% of the time and I really miss it
I've been meaning to try some EF nail polish but just haven't gotten around to it...I will admit my nails are the healthiest they've been in, well forever. They grow SUPER fast (although that's probably due to my healthy eating habits now) and they grow long and don't break...I actually have to clip them with clippers now when they get too long which is something I never had to do before!
I think I'm going to try zoya because it looks like they have the perfect 'angel from rent' blue: http://www.artofbeauty.com/scrpt/scr.dll/Item?Item=3528&brand=2&d=Zoya_Nail_Polish_|_Tart
