Stoopid cat

FatCat is seriously flipping out. It's like "Mommy's home today so I'm going to be extra bad!" He's yelling at me to watch him eat. He is knocking stuff off of the table. He's yeowling at the door... Why can't he just sleep like i know he does when he's home alone?

Re: Stoopid cat

  • My cat herds me when I'm home. He tries to round me into the chair, or to the bathroom closet, or to the wet food. He yowls and gets under my feet and goes back and forth staring at me and the object of his desire. I love him but sometimes I just want to put him in timeout. But cats learn nothing from timeout. They just wonder how you didn't notice them when you shut the door.

  • I totally put FC in timeout. He doesn't understand it but I get some peace and quiet. only problem with that now is that the litter box is in the bathroom (where timeout takes place) and he get's destructive. I've walked into an upended litter box and litter kicked around everywhere.

  • Luckily our cats are actually both pretty small. I don't think they could upend the litter box, unless they worked together. And since one is ...on spectrum... I doubt he'd be able to figure that out.
