Title:Administrative Assistant [10-008] (BD)

Description:Our Billerica, MA office is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant-Sales to support our Director, National Accounts. As a member of the Northeast Sales & Business Development team, this position is responsible for providing a high level of professional, administrative and organizational assistance. Duties and responsibilities include: ? Support the Director of National Accounts in the implementation of the business development strategy; responsibilities include: ? Analysis and research to support sales campaigns and projects ? Pre-meeting research (primary & secondary) and preparation of prospect files ? Prepare correspondence, including letters, proposals, reports, spreadsheets, presentations and agreements ? Monitor appointment schedule, follow-ups and deadlines for agreements and/or proposals via CRM system ? Traditional administrative support (travel, file maintenance, etc.) ? Work closely with inside-sales coordinator to maximize efficiency of DMA?s scheduling for meetings and communication with prospects and clients. ? Provide telephone support, communicating with clients, prospects and DMA service staff. ? Create and manage sales management reports utilizing DMA?s CRM suite. ? Develop an in-depth knowledge of our service offerings and delivery, and a basic knowledge of state and local tax issues. ? Develop an understanding of the territory?s tax environment and assist in marketing DMA?s capabilities. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years administrative experience, preferably in an executive capacity or supporting outside sales working with large corporate accounts. Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint required, experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, ACT, etc.) is beneficial. Specific corporate tax experience is not required; however a basic understanding of tax and financial concepts will distinguish a superior candidate for this position. Superior professional oral and written communication and well-developed organizational skills are essential.
