How to find a grocery store ?
DH and I are renting a house on the Gulf coast of Alabama, about 45 minutes south of Mobile. How do I find a grocery store that carries a decent organic produce selection? There isn't a Whole Foods near where we're staying or on our driving route.
Are there any websites that list co-ops, natural food stores, etc.? Are there any southern chains that are good? Or do I just have to deal with what we find along the way?

Tired after a long morning of hiking and swimming.
Re: How to find a grocery store ?
We're going to Dauphin Island which is next to Gulf Shores. I hadn't thought of posting on the Alabama board. I always forget other boards exist.
Thank you.

From my friend in Mobile:
There is NOTHING there but Mom & Pop places.
In Mobile, she can stop at any of the Winn-Dixie's or the Fresh Market on Airport on her way to the island (assuming they're flying in).
That was so sweet of you to ask your friend! Thank you! I'll look these places up online and get directions. (we're driving there from Minnesota and going through Mobile)
