We should have a GTG!!!
Hi girls!!! I just moved her from San Diego about a week and a half ago, I had been posting some questions before moving, and we had talked about a GTG, and the fact that I don't really have any friends here is a good excuse for me to GTG!!!
So I'm taking the liberty of creating a poll for a future GTG, that we can hopefully have one sometime soon!!!
Also, where should we go??? I don't know the area well yet, but just go ahead and post your suggestion, maybe we can pick something central to most girls!!!

Fridays are typically my "girls" nights, but that weekend I have the Martina McBride concert that i'm working

I'm in Saint Charles so maybe somewhere around the loop/ brentwood / mapelwood/Desperes/manchester would be a good idea to accomdate the north and the south folks....
Perhaps the dueling piano bar in mapelwood that would be fun!?
I think I'm good for Friday night or Saturday. Although Friday night would make it easier since I'll be coming from work in Earth City/Riverport otherwise I'll just make the road trip on Saturday.
I'm cool with whatever the majority votes.

I live in O'Fallon and work in Earth City but am flexible. Thursday 8/28 works for me as well.
It looks like Thursday's winning!!! Is that place in Brentwood (?) good on Thursdays?
I'll go anywhere, I just think we should go to a place that is not too loud so we can talk and can divide the check for us or in which we pay in advance, which is always easier for a large group :-) Just a thought!!!

Boo for working. Would anyone be willing to push it up a week or two so everyone can go? If not, then do you all want to make it a monthly or every other month thing?
If Thursday wins, I'm good to go I think. However, I won't be able to stay late because work comes too early in the morning and this old lady needs sleep.
A restaurant may be a little better? I've never been to that bar, so I'm not sure how loud it is? Also, would anybody be willing to move it further west/north? Like Westport area/St. Charles/Creve Couer area? Is that too far for some?
I was actually talking about the Maplewood piano bar that one of the PP mentioned, but like I said I pretty much know NOTHING about the areas around here yet, so I have no preference, everything will be new to me!!!
Should I make another post to decide where to go???

I have no idea where it is, but a friend was raving about the Chocolate Bar, would anyone be interested in that? She was saying that instead of bringing rolls to your table, they bring warm chocolate chip cookies (yuuuuuummm!). I'm really up for just about anything though (as long as it isn't to much $$$$).

I just wanted to say hello. I am originally from St. Louis but have been living in San Diego for the past few years. I just moved about 2 weeks ago to NJ (I know, I'm all over the place!) But, I just wanted to say I'm here if you ever have questions about STL or San Diego comparable stuff in the Lou.
Hope you guys get to have your GTG. Sounds like fun!
